August 2012

We were really pleased that a recent edition of Fashion Extras magazine ran an editorial on Street Shoe. Click on the pictures for a larger image.

May 2012
Our good friend Nige let us onboard his yacht, Fat Chance, for our second, nautically themed photo shoot.  And would you believe it, the sun shone and we were even able to sail, or at least meander, around the Firth of Clyde in T-shirts!
Our wonderful Julie wore the shoes with superb style and Graham Chilles was behind the camera lens again: if you’re getting married in Ayrshire, Graham’s your man for the photos www.adamtonphotography.co.uk. We would also like to thank Troon Yacht Haven for our irregular use of their marina.
We are really pleased with the results which, with this taster, we hope you also enjoy.

April 2012
We recently finished our first photo shoot, fortunately catching that lovely spell of weather before that spell of wintery weather.  Because shoes can look so different when worn, we are keen to provide images of some of our shoes adorned with feet, legs, etc., whilst also offering our own perspective on the collection.
So, our occasional assistant and good friend Julie was kind enough to model for us and the pictures were taken by local photographer Graham Chilles: www.adamtonphotography.co.uk . Graham’s bread and butter is wedding photographs, so a photo shoot with a focus on shoes was a slightly different assignment for him and completely new for the rest of us. Our locations were in Prestwick; across the street at Murray’s Cafe and the Railway Takeaway, and the footbridge over the railway line.
Here is a small sample of the results, which we hope you enjoy. You should begin to see some of the photographs used both here on the website and in the shop.
We had so much fun that we intend to return to the great Scottish outdoors for a further photo shoot in the next couple of weeks. Let’s hope the weather is kind to us again.
